The Head of the Fish regatta is held in Saratoga Springs, NY, and is hosted by the Saratoga Rowing Association. It is a 3.7km (2.3 miles) race on Fish Creek, with winners of each race taking home a custom painted, mounted fish head as a trophy. Given the distance of travel (between 3.5 and 4 hours), this regatta requires an overnight stay near the race course. Those selected to travel will be notified as soon as possible once the coaches make their boat lineups for this regatta.
