2019 Fall Youth Programs

IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO ROW THIS FALL! Registration for all Youth Programs is open until Friday September 13th. If you’d like to come down to the boathouse and check it out before committing, please contact Rowing Director, Mitch McManus and he’ll get you out on the river. You are just one mouse click away from discovering one of life’s great adventures.

If you are in Middle School or High School, Greater Lawrence Rowing has a seat in a racing shell for you!

Junior Competitive Team
This program is for students in grades 8-12 who want to train and compete in the sport of rowing.  Be on a club team with other students from all around the greater Merrimack Valley area and compete against some of the toughest teams in the country.  Rowers in their first competitive year of rowing will be considered Novice rowers, while athletes with more than a year of experience will become Varsity.  Practice 5 days a week with competitions on weekends in October and early November. There is no experience necessary!

This meeting is mandatory for all new and returning athletes and a parent. Families looking for more information and an opportunity to tour the facilities and meet the coaches may also attend this non-obligatory meeting.

A swim test is required for those that don’t already have one on file.  The swim test form can be found here.
